OVERVIEW
Located in the Shibuya Seibu Department Store Complex, the store is a permeable enclosure composed of vertical louvers of bronze metal, smoked mirror and glass, branded via full-height video displays and perforated metal screens with the double-G pattern. The enclosure is representative of a more modern interpretation of the new Gucci store concept, illuminating the range of designs developed by Christian.
A marble floor inlaid with the gold GG logo and framed by two backlit gold mesh walls defines the threshold, inviting shoppers into the Gucci world. Gold and ribbed Plexiglass rods form a dramatic ceiling installation, creating depth and drama in the space.
